§ 6-1. Entry upon runways, etc., restricted.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon the runways, taxi strips or aprons on the county airport without having first obtained permission for such entry or use from the airport manager or his assistant. Any motor vehicle, excluding airplanes, having permission from the airport manager or his assistant to enter upon such runways, taxi strips or aprons on the county airport shall prominently display a flag or pennant colored international red.

    (b)

    Any person violating or failing, refusing or neglecting to comply with this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section 1-7; but the judgment for any penalty may be reduced or wholly or partly remitted by the recorder as he may deem just in any case tried before him, or by any other court before which an action is brought to recover such penalty where such court has jurisdiction of such action.
