Two (2) members of an immediate family shall not be employed full time or part time
within the same department. The term "immediate family" shall be understood to refer
to that degree of closeness or relationship which would suggest that problems might
be created within the department or where there is the possibility of a conflict of
interest. Immediate family shall be defined as wife, husband, mother, father, brother,
sister, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, aunt, uncle,
niece, and nephew as well as the various combinations of half, step, in-law, great,
and adopted relationships.
